The Taco Bell Dog has died. No, this is not one of those lame Pillsbury Doughboy obituary jokes, this actually happened.
Gidget, the Chihuahua that was best known for her Taco Bell TV commercials, died from a stroke on Tuesday night at the ripe old age of 15 (hey, that’s pretty good for a dog).
“She made so many people happy,” says Sue Chipperton, Gidget’s companion and trainer.
She adds, “Gidget always knew where the camera was.”
We wish you well, Gidget, as you head off to that big chalupa in the sky.
