Fail Nation: A Visual Romp Through the World of Epic Fails.

It looks like CitySearch now has an iPhone app.  Yelp.com came out with theirs back in October so this makes thing a lot more interesting for the two companies.

You can use either of these apps via the iPhone's built-in GPS system so you can find local points of interest and leave user reviews.

The two applications seem pretty similar but are quite different beneath the surface.  Each service gets its data from different sources. Citysearch recently reclassified its data, sorting things by neighborhood. This comes in handy when looking for something nearby.  You are still limited to searching by zip code and city, however.

User reviews are hot...no doubt about it...and these apps allow you to do so practically in real time while the experience is fresh, which is very useful...
