Yahoo just made some changes to their index with brand new web data and an update to its crawling, indexing, and ranking algorithms.
The company has done 2 search updates since last November. The first one occurred in December of 2008 and another in late January of this year. Expect the full update to be completed in the very near future.
Yahoo does caution that throughout the update process, you might see some changes your search ranking as well as some shuffling of the pages in the index. Not to worry, once the index update is complete, everything will be back to normal, if there is such a thing on the internet these days.
