Yahoo is laying off 1,500 people today, as the economy continues to worsen and layoffs in the tech industry approach 100,000.

Lucky for the soon-to-be-unemployed, however, that video chat startup Tokbox will be sitting in a taco truck outside of Yahoo headquarters today, handing out complimentary tacos and job applications.

Of course, they only have five positions to fill so it looks like a giant game of musical chairs could be in order!

Yahoo has endured recent stock price woes, as well as a very recent debacle with regard to their Search Marketing product.  With the economy lagging, it's no surprise that Yahoo has been forced to scale back.
