OK, first of all, let me just say that this is the most bizarre story you will read all week. I hope you’re not eating right now.
A sheep has given birth to a dead lamb with a human face. The calf was born in a village in Turkey.
Erhan Elibol, a veterinarian, performed a Cesarean section on the sheep to deliver the calf, but was quickly shocked to see that it had a human face.
“I’ve seen mutations with cows and sheep before. I’ve seen a one-eyed calf, a two-headed calf, a five-legged calf. But when I saw this youngster I could not believe my eyes. His mother could not deliver him so I had to help the animal,” the 29-year-old said.
Experts say that the rare mutation probably occurred as a result of an improper mutation as the fodder for the lamb’s mom was filled with vitamin A.
If you ask me, there’s only one way you get a mutation like this, and it ain’t from vitamin A.
