A man was caught having sex with a horse after the owner installed cameras inside the horse's stable...all because the same man had previously been convicted of having sex with the same horse.

Rodell Vereen of South Carolina was busted when the horse's owner caught the heinous act on tape, then decided to stake out the stable and held Vereen at gunpoint until authorities arrived.

In 2008, Vereen pleaded guilty to having intercourse with the same horse and was put on the state's sex offender list.

Owner Barbara Kenley said she noticed that her 21-year-old horse, Sugar, was acting strangely and kept getting infections.

She decided to install video cameras in the stable and when she watched the July 19 footage, she saw the same man doing the same thing to her same horse.

Kenley staked out the barn and caught Vereen inside on Monday, then proceeded to chase him back to his truck and held him with her shotgun until police arrived on the scene.

Vereen, 50, was initially charged with trespassing, but police added a bestiality charge after watching the surveillance tape.

He faces up to five years if convicted.

Kenley said she thought of shooting Vereen both times but she didn't want to go to jail.

"Everyone around here has horses," Kenley said. "And they all said the same thing. You should have shot him."
