peta obama flyOh please.  People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals (PETA) is now criticizing President Barack Obama for swatting a fly during a television interview.

In an interview Tuesday on CNBC, the President swatted and killed a fly that violated his personal airspace.

In response, PETA has sent Obama a “humane” bug catcher that will help you trap a fly and then set it free outdoors.  A PETA spokesperson said that the incident proves that Obama “isn’t the Buddha, he’s a human being, and human beings have a long way to go before they think before they act.”

Then again, maybe he’s just a guy who swatted a fly.
