Has one of the greatest legendary creatures of our time been spotted on Google Earth?
One man claims to have found the Loch Ness Monster in satellite imagery located on the popular mapping platform.
Jason Cooke, a security guard, said a 65-foot, oblong shape followed by several thin strands is actually the highly controversial beast said to dwell in Loch Ness in the Scottish Highlands.
Cooke says: “I couldn’t believe it. It’s just like the descriptions of Nessie.”
Loch Ness die-hards think that the monster is a plesiosaur…a water-dwelling reptile that lived on Earth at the beginning of the Jurassic period and is widely thought to be extinct.
