That’s not a typo. If you are somehow lucky enough to wind up sitting in one of the luxury boxes at the new Dallas Cowboys stadium, you’d better be ready to take out a home equity loan if you would like some pizza.
Those watching a Cowboys game from a luxury suite at the new stadium will have to cough up $90 for cheese pizza and $66 for a 12-pack of domestic beer.
This is surely a sign that the recession did not last long enough.
The price tag is $800,000 per year to lease one of these new luxury suites, and that doesn’t even include tickets to the games. The stadium’s official website says “having your company’s name on a suite makes an important statement about your success” and can help make an impression on clients. That statement is, “We enjoy getting ripped off and wasting our clients’ money.”
Oh, did we mention that $90 is the cost of a plain pizza? If you want pepperoni, they will only accept gold bars.
