Worst Failure Ever = Google Bomb

Republican activists have managed to successfully carry out a "Google Bomb".  When the phrase "Worst Failure Ever" is entered into Google, the first result listed is that of the Obama Administration.

A Google bomb (A.K.A. "link bomb") is a slang term for an attempt to raise the search engine ranking of a page in the Google search results, often with humorous or political intentions.  It can only be achieved by attaining enough links to the page in question with the appropriate anchor text...in this case "worst failure ever".

Google had announced back in 2007 that it had discovered a way to put a stop to Google Bombs, but in this case, it clearly hasn't worked.

Word of this particular Google Bomb seems to have spread via Republican websites and forums, including Free Republic Saturday US time.

If you want to see it for yourself, just enter the term "worst failure ever" into Google.
