OK, bloggers – it’s always an exciting day when the latest version of WordPress becomes available. It’s also a bit of a pain in the rear knowing that I have to upgrade all of my blogs.
Well now, if you’re using WordPress 2.7, you can upgrade automatically to WordPress 2.7.1.
You can automatically upgrade from 2.7 to 2.7.1 via the Tools->Upgrade menu, or you can download the package and upgrade manually (although I have no idea why you would want to do that).
Consult the list of fixed tickets and the full set of changes between 2.7 and 2.7.1 for details.
NOTE: If you having the “WordPress Automatic Upgrade” plugin installed, you MUST deactivate it as this will prevent the new, built-in upgrade feature from working. Besides, that plugin is now obsolete anyway. Happy Blogging!
