Tiger Woods’ annual charity concert event held in Las Vegas, called Tiger Jam, has been officially canceled.
The event has been held for the last 11 years and regularly sold out the 12,000 seat Mandalay Bay Events Center. Acts that have been featured at the gala have included No Doubt, Sting, Bon Jovi, The Eagles, Christina Aguilera and Van Halen. The shin dig has raised millions for the Tiger Woods Foundation.
Why was the event canceled? On rep says, “think about it, do you think it’s a good idea right now for Tiger Woods to be raising money for charity in Vegas?”
Ouch! This is a huge blow to the Tiger Woods Foundation, not to mention the commerce of Las Vegas in general as the event usually brings in millions of dollars.
