Google is getting ready to launch a new project called Flipper. The initiative is basically a more visual way to read Google News, by literally "flipping" through it.
When complete, you will be able to browse by section, by source, by keyword, and also by "most popular."
The visual angle isn't anything earth-shattering, but the improved filters should be fun to play with.
As it stand now, the link takes you to a Google login page. Once you sign in, you quickly realize that this feature is only available internally to Google...for now.
