The final moments of Conan O’Brien‘s reign on The Tonight Show were nothing short of epic.
Donning full hippie attire, Will Ferrell, along with his wife, Swedish actress Viveca Paulin, joined Conan in a spirited rendition of Lynyrd Skynyrd‘s classic “Freebird” as the credits rolled on the final show.

Ferrell was sporting a long blonde wig, bell bottom pants and a black cowboy hat while his wife, “Dawn” as he called her, donned a head scarf, and even a mumu that could barely hold her pregnant stomach. They are expecting their third baby later in January.
Ferrell’s voice drifted a bit flat at times, but not to worry, he was accompanied by Beck Hansen and ZZ Top. Conan O’Brien himself even rocked out on the guitar!
So long, Conan! See you in the fall.
