There was a brief Whitney Houston wardrobe malfunction on the British show “The X Factor” on Sunday night.
The diva was belting out “Million Dollar Bill” when one of the straps on her gown came loose.
“I sang myself out of my clothes,” she said after her performance.
This was a relatively minor wardrobe malfunction, however. The strap seemed to be mostly decorative and wasn’t critical to holding her dress in place.
The performance followed a master class with Houston and Clive Davis giving advice to the aspiring singers.
Her responses to Dermot O’Leary’s questions on the live show were a bit muddled and sprinkled with “ums.” When asked when the new album would be released, Whitney paused, saying: “Yeah, the um… the album? It should release this weekend, or next week sometime. I’ll be back here in April for the tour.”
