There's a new Twitter directory in town, and its name is WeFollow.
What makes WeFollow unique is that it was created by Kevin Rose, the guy who created Digg.
Rose made the announcement via Digg. It has since gained over 2,500 followers within a 24-hour period.
Here is how it works: you just tweet to @wefollow the hashtags that represent which categories you would like to be listed under.
WeFollow analyzes all of the user data and then compiles users based on those hashtags. WeFollow only allows for three hashtags per person in order to keep the directory from becoming spammed to death.
There are a lot of other Twitter directories out there already, but this one has some street cred built in with Rose behind the wheel - heck, Google has already voluntarily joined this directory.
This one could be a hit in a big way.
