What the Dell? Twitter Followers Get Bonuses

Here a hot tip.  Follow Dell on Twitter.  No, really.  Just do it.

Why?

Because Dell 'gets' Twitter marketing - and how it's supposed to be done.

We've just seen an announcement that Dell will be offering some special deals to people who follow them on Twitter - @DellOutlet.

Basically, at random times, followers of @DellOutlet will see a tweet with a brief, promotional message - along with a hyperlink. The link will then carry you off to the deal’s product page on Dell.com. The campaign was announced on Twitter (of course):

Beginning today, Dell will offer deals from the Dell Outlet exclusive to Twitter in the U.S. With over 11,000 followers, our team wanted to show their thanks to the Twitter world through these new deals which will continue each week.
