The countdown is on and all systems are “go” for Space Shuttle Atlantis, which is set to lift off at 2:01pm EDT from the Kennedy Space Center in Florida.

Among other things, this mission will set out to repair portions of the Hubble Space Telescope.

Astronaut Mark Polansky, commander of the next mission to the International Space Station, has invited YouTube and Twitter users to participate in the next mission by posting “video questions” to YouTube and also by getting updates via Twitter.

To ask a question, just create a short (30 seconds or less) video and post it to YouTube.  Then, simply send it to his Twitter account via @reply.  Polansky will respond to your questions right on NASA TV.
