NASA has announced that Friday’s space shuttle landing has been postponed due to inclement weather.
The space shuttle Atlantis was due to land at Florida’s Kennedy Space Center before the long Memorial Day weekend.
NASA will now try for a Saturday landing. Atlantis is expected to have four chances to land at either Kennedy Space Center or at Edwards Air Force Base in California.
The first window of opportunity opens up at 9:16am EDT at Kennedy Space Center.
At worst, Atlantis has enough fuel to stay in orbit through Monday.
