Jani Lane, ex-lead singer of 80′s hair band WARRANT, is going to jail for DUI in Hollywood.
He will spend two mandatory days in jail after pleading “no contest” to one count of DUI. In the incident, Lane hit a parked car last month.
Jani managed to strike a deal where authorities agreed to drop a hit-and-run charge. In exchange, Lane will serve 36 months probation, complete 3 months’ worth of alcohol education classes and report for 30 days of Caltrans road work.
Jani also has to pay over $395 in fines. If he so chooses, however, he could serve another 13 days instead of paying the cash.
