Tommy Lam is not happy. He's pretty angry with an Ontario-area McDonald’s in Canada after finding dead ants inside his breakfast burrito.
Lam, 28, says he and his girlfriend ordered two sausage and egg breakfast burritos each. After he had eaten the first one, he found over 50 dead ants inside and outside the lining of the second burrito.
“It was disgusting,” he said.
Lam complained to the manager, "Keith". He was shocked by the compensation that was offered to him.
“He offered to replace our burritos, that was it,” Lam said. “I just said, ‘No thanks!’ and walked out.”
Lam said he later tried to contact McDonald's head offices and his local public health department, but he wasn't able to reach anyone over the long weekend. He's going to keep trying until he gets some answers.
