What could possibly be creepy about an innocent nursery rhyme like “Little Boy Blue“?

Well, Jimmy Fallon had the brilliant idea on Late Night with Jimmy Fallon to have Michael Emerson read it in the style of Benjamin Linus from ABC’s LOST.

The result?  The most spine-tingling rendition of “Little Boy Blue” ever captured on film. I mean it, my hair is still standing on end.

Jimmy Fallon seems to have a keen understanding of the power behind creating snippets that will surely go viral on the internet (see the Susan Boyle sketch for further proof).  This is no exception.

When Michael Emerson first appeared on LOST as Henry Gayle, it was probably the best thing that ever happened to an already brilliant show.

(P.S. – What lies in the shadow of the statue anyway?  I can’t wait to find out.)
