Is Facebook currently under attack or is it suffering from a major glitch in the system? Many users have noticed that the name of their school has been mysteriously changed to Vidyartha College.
The "Vidyartha College Facebook Virus", as it is being called right now, was first detected on Tuesday afternoon and is now moving across the popular social networking website's infrastructure.
Bear in mind that, at this point, it is not clear what is causing this to occur. Facebook has yet to make any sort of official statement regarding the problem.
It's possible that this is just a bug within Facebook, but the problem does seem to spread between friends, which could be an indication that something more insidious might be at work.
Check back for updates.
