A Fort Lauderdale, Florida woman, who was sitting at her desk at work, had a strange feeling that something was going on back at her house.
Jeanne Thomas decided to log onto the home security camera that she installed in her home after it had been burglarized. To her shock, she pulled up the live video feed and saw someone she didn’t know inside her home.
Thomas immediately called 911.
“I’m watching my home on live monitor, and there is a black man in my house, and he is robbing it,” she told the dispatcher.
The woman on the other end of the 911 call asked Thomas where she was. Thomas replied, “I’m in Fort Lauderdale, at my work.”
Police raced to the scene and four men were charged in the home invasion.
