I haven’t been watching this season of American Idol as much as I have in the past – until now that is. The show really seems to be heating up again lately.
This is something you don’t see very often. In fact, last night many people didn’t see it at all.
It seems that American Idol ran a little bit over and many people who had recorded the show on DVR and Tivo missed the ending. Bummer.
Lucky for you, we’ve got the video.
Here is Adam Lambert performing a chilling rendition of “Mad World,” a song originally written by Tears for Fears back in 1982. Lambert did the Gary Jules version of the song from a few years ago which is much darker than the original.
At the end, Simon actually gave him a standing ovation. He deserved it too. Wow…
