Where will the LeBron James express finally land? Venus Williams is hoping that his final destination will be the Miami Heat.
The tennis star is trying lure James to Florida as an announcement regarding his final decision is expected later tonight. While giving a talk at the National Press Club to promote her new book “Come to Win“, in Washington, D.C., Williams said that LeBron James would look good in a Miami Heat uniform.
Venus currently lives in Palm Beach Gardens, Florida.
“I’m from Florida, so Miami certainly is the best place,” Williams said. “I actually have a slide show prepared, if he wants to watch, on why – but I’m sure he’ll make the right decision.”
Her book “Come to Win” demonstrates how professionals can use athletic competitiveness to assist them in their business careers.
She should know. Williams is a minority owner in the Miami Dolphins, is acting CEO of V Starr Interiors (her own interior design company), and also has her own line of clothing, EleVen.
She was recently named the 83rd most powerful celebrity in the world by Forbes magazine.
