In a sad update to the Dallas Cowboys roof collapse we reported on yesterday, we have now learned that a Dallas Cowboys scouting assistant was permanently paralyzed from the waist down when his spine was severed during the collapse.
The assistant is currently in stable condition after undergoing surgery on Sunday.
On Saturday, near-hurricane-force winds ripped the roof off of the team’s practice facility during minicamp, injuring more than a dozen people.
