Triple H Undertaker Raw

We finally got our answer to what was behind those WWE 2-21-11 teaser promos last night on RAW. The Undertaker made his return, only to be interrupted by Triple H, who also made his return.

The two cut a superb promo, one that was about as intense as they get…all without uttering one, single word.

It now looks as though we’ll get to see Triple H try to end Undertaker’s unbeaten streak at WrestleMania XXVII.

Of course, some fans will be disappointed that we didn’t get to see Sting make his WWE debut, as we speculated about a few weeks ago, but it shouldn’t really surprise anyone that he didn’t show up last night, although one never knows what the future may hold for “The Icon”.

So, for those keeping score at home, that’s three landmark comebacks in two weeks on RAW.  Last week, we saw the triumphant return of The Rock, and this week we got the return of Undertaker and Triple H.

Speaking of The Rock, last night, we also got to see John Cena return to his “Thuganomics” roots to address the comments that were hurled his way by “The Great One” when he returned last week.

It was kind of funny to hear Cena get back into that character, and he did make a few really good points about how he’s been here for the fans all along, while The Rock has been making movies like…”The Tooth Fairy”?  Really??

Cena also managed to work in a few not-quite-PG jabs at The Rock, so it seems WWE is going a little more PG-13 than PG these days, which is refreshing.

Lastly, it also looks like we’ll get to see Jerry “The King” Lawler take on Michael Cole at WrestleMania 27.  It might take me a while to get excited about that one.

You can check out the Undertaker/Triple H promo as well as John Cena’s Thuganomics routine below.  What did you think of last night’s RAW?
