Something was definitely there. They just don’t know what it was. Last week, some residents of Lafayette, Colorado caught a strange, triangular UFO on video, and they want answers.
Leroy van der Vegt and his son Nick van der Vegt caught the strange phenomenon on video.
“It was completely quiet. No noise at all,” Leroy says.
The red lights that they saw hovering in the sky were arranged in triangular fashion and made were completely silent.
Van der Vegt says that, although he has no idea what he & his son witness, he’s sure it was not a satellite or airplane.
Finally, he says, the shape drifted off to the northeast and the lights faded from sight.
Lester Valdez and a few of his neighbors also caught a glimpse of the strange, red lights.
“I have never witnessed anything like that,” said Valdez, adding that they looked like something right out of “Close Encounters of the Third Kind.”
“It was exactly something like that where you see an object and they all got into a pattern and they stood in a pattern, and they all moved in a direction and then they pretty much dropped and that was it,” Valdez said.
