UFC 99 Results – Spoiler Warning! (Video)

On Saturday, June 13, Ultimate Fighting Championship held its first ever event in Germany.

The UFC 99: The Comeback card included the former UFC middleweight champion, Rich Franklin vs Wanderlei Silva.

It also featured the return of Mirko “CroCop” Filipović vs Mostapha Al-turk.  This was Filipović’s first fight in the UFC since he lost by unanimous decision to Cheick Kongo back in 2007 at UFC 75.

Catchweight (195 lb) bout: Rich Franklin vs Wanderlei Silva
Franklin defeated Silva in a unanimous decision.

Heavyweight bout: Cain Velasquez vs. Cheick Kongo
Velasquez defeated Kongo, also by unanimous decision.

Heavyweight bout: Mirko Filipović vs. Mostapha Al-turk
Filipović defeated Al-turk via TKO (Strikes) at the 3:06 mark in Round 1.

Welterweight bout: Mike Swick vs. Ben Saunders
Swick defeated Saunders via TKO (strikes) at the 3:47 mark in Round 2.

Lightweight bout: Spencer Fisher vs. Caol Uno
Fisher defeated Uno by way of unanimous decision.

Welterweight bout: Marcus Davis vs. Dan Hardy

Etim defeated Buchholz via submission (d’arce choke) at the 2:38 mark in Round 2.

Siver defeated Hartt via submission (rear naked choke) at the 3:23 mark in Round 1.

Welterweight bout: Paul Taylor vs. Peter Sobotta
Taylor defeated Sobotta by unanimous decision.

Lightweight bout: Paul Kelly vs. Rolando Delgado
Kelly defeated Delgado in another unanimous decision.

Heavyweight bout: Denis Stojnić vs. Stefan Struve
Struve defeated Stojnić via submission (rear naked choke) at the 2:37 mark in Round 2.

Welterweight bout: John Hathaway vs. Rick Story
Hathaway defeated Story by unanimous decision.
