Some have already tried to turn Twitter into a more powerful "question and answer" platform. There are websites such as Twtpoll and Strawpoll that let you ask a question and then give you a unique URL to track the answers.
Squidoo is taking things a bit further though, leveraging the concept of Q&A's to turn Twitter into a massive content creation service for them, through a new product dubbed Twttrstrm. The idea is to ask a question to your Twitter followers, and have Squidoo place the answers – and lots of extra information – on a brand new Lens.
For example, the Squidoo team asked “What do you like most about Mashable?”. They then created a hashtag - #luvmashable – and in turn, all tweets that use that hastag get placed on the Squidoo Lens for the question. You can also just reply from the Lens, without using Twitter.
