Earlier this morning, an earthquake shook the San Francisco Bay area, where Twitter’s headquarters is located, as well as San Jose. Twitter, of course, erupted with activity shortly thereafter.
The U.S. Geological Survey said the quake had a magnitude of 4.3. and the epicenter was located about 11 miles north of Morgan Hill, or 16 miles south east of San Jose. There were no reports of injuries or damage.
While today’s earthquake may not have been very big, it did stir up the Twitter universe. It doesn’t get much more real time than this, as evidenced by the screenshot below. Twitter is about more than following celebrities…
