Twilight Twitter Account Is Here

Look out, Twilight fans.  You now have another way to satisfy your obsessed craving for more Twilight movie info.

The official Twilight Twitter account has arrived. At this point, it's still unverified, although it does seem to be legit as it's currently broadcasting tweets from director Chris Weitz.

Here's a really impressive statistic. The Twilight Twitter account has only been active for about 8 hours and it already has almost 40,000 followers. This one could break the Ashton Kutcher mark in record time.

Thanks to the new Twilight Twitter account, so far we've learned that the final run time of The Twilight Saga: New Moon movie clocks in at 2 hours and 10 minutes. We've gotten to see an exclusive New Moon Twitpic (see below).

As Twilight enters the realm of social networking, it's popularity is bound to soar with the greatest of ease.
