There’s trouble a-brewing in the Gulf of Mexico.
Tropical Storm Isaac is forecast to become Hurricane Issac later this week as it moves to the west-northwest.
It will be bringing torrential downpours and very strong winds along with it.
That could spell serious trouble for Haiti, where many residents are still living in tents after that devastating earthquake a few years back.
Even worse, Tropical Storm Isaac/Hurricane Isaac could prove to be a most unwelcome visitor at the upcoming Republican National Convention in Tampa, Florida, August 27-30.
The “worst case scenario” for Tampa, according to Accuweather.com, would be if Tropical Storm Isaac/Hurricane Isaac were to swing over the Gulf of Mexico, strengthen, then curve northeastward toward the city on the Florida west coast.
This could be a whopper of a storm.
