Paramount has confirmed what many have speculated. There will indeed be a fourth installment in the “Transformers” franchise.
The company announced yesterday that “Transformers 4″ would likely hit the big screen in June 2014.
It’s unclear whether or not Shia LaBeouf will be a part of the new film.
The actor, who has starred in the hit franchise since 2007, said while doing press for the third film, 2011′s “Transformers: Dark of the Moon“, that he wasn’t interested in coming back for another round.
His co-star, Rosie Huntington-Whiteley, has been eager to come back, however.
One thing is certain, though…Michael Bay will be back to direct “Transformers 4″.
