Well, if you recall this story from earlier this month, there is a lesson to be learned here. If you think you can outsmart Digg, think again...
"There's more user unrest in the community of popular social news site Digg, after the all-time number 3 ranked user Zaibatsu, a.k.a. Reg Saddler, was banned for alleged multiple violations of the Digg Terms of Use. That decision is 'final and irreversible', according to an email Saddler got from Digg today.
So why was Saddler banned? It wasn't associated with the recent bannings of other Digg users over using Greasemonkey scripts. Rather the ban was handed down after Saddler submitted a website which was, in the words of an email Saddler received from Digg, 'spam and a solicitation of products and/or services'."
It's clear that Digg is sending a message here. Spam at your own risk...and the level of seniority your account has attained makes no difference.
- Verizon Wars: Episode II - Attack of the Clowns -
After our Verizon fiasco this past weekend, it seems that several Verizon vice presidents have been leaving messages on our home voicemail box. If they truly cared, or actually knew the DETAILS of our situation, they would know that, in accidentally cutting through our Comcast cable line, they not only cut off our cable TV and internet, but also our PHONE.
Now Comcast tells us that the repairs involve digging which must be coordinated with the county. This process could take 7 to 14 days! The Big V is getting plenty of phone calls from me until this mess is sorted out.
