Toni Braxton has filed for bankruptcy once again. For the second time in her 18-year music career, the “Unbreak My Heart” crooner has sought Chapter 7 bankruptcy protection.
Braxton, 43, filed for bankruptcy back in 1998 but managed to get her act back together following the success of her 2000 album “The Heat”. However, a heart condition that put an end to her popular show on the Las Vegas strip has also wiped out her finances. Some analysts are saying that Braxton may be up to $50 million in debt.
Toni Braxton says she won’t be able to cover the costs because she’s “only” worth between $1 million and $10 million.
The mom of two, who is currently divorcing singer Keri Lewis, is also facing foreclosure on her L.A.home and is the subject of an IRS tax lien for nearly $400,000.
