Time to Bank with MySpace?

Wow, that question sounds like it's a couple of years too late doesn't it?  Well, believe it.  MySpace Social Ads are now in Beta.  Remember the initial Facebook frenzy?  Time to go check this one out while it's still in its infancy.

I just fired up a couple of campaigns this afternoon.  They are still 'pending approval' (go figure) but these things can be SUPER targeted.

You can target right down to the movie title, TV show, or BAND name (hello?  are the bells going off?).

Supposedly, these ads are supposed to be for bands to get more viewers to their pages but from what I've been reading all day, they are approving just about everything right now.

So what's the downside?  Well, right now, the minimum bid is $0.25 which is just too high.  If your offer or campaign only pennies, stay away.  If you're in the dating, ringtones, crush (::cough:: Ads4Dough ::cough::) etc. niche, however, happy hunting.

There is also a $25 minimum campaign budget.  Not awful, but no minimum would be better.

Make sure you head over to the CPA Master List and get signed up with some CPA networks.  Try MySpace out.  This is your big chance to be a pioneer.

Now, stop reading.  Start making money.
