Has Time Magazine gone black-hat?
As you may recall from Friday, Moot, the founder of the controversial 4chan internet group, was on pace to be named as 2009’s most influential person on the yearly Time 100 list.
Moot was leading the pack with 275,000 votes with an average score of 75/100. Today, however, Moot has 280,000 votes with an average score of 53/100 and is in 3rd place…but not before going lower, as the picture below shows (thanks to my friend Duncan over at The Inquisitr)…

The odds of Moot getting another 5,000 votes in 24 hours and dropping that much rank, while Jon Stewart doubled his total votes, are slim and none.
It’s also important to note that the places are ranked by score and not total votes. Nonethless, how someone could drop down that quickly with 5,000 votes from 280,000 is pretty much impossible.
Does this mean that we’ll soon see Time Magazine over at Black Hat World?
