Sources now confirm that the woman who was whisked away from Tiger Woods‘ home by ambulance was in fact his mother-in-law, Barbro Holmberg.
She was reportedly having stomach pains and was taken from the mansion to Health Central Hospital “on advanced life support” after firefighters received a 911 call at 2:36 a.m. on Tuesday morning, hospital spokesman Dan Yates stated.

She was listed in stable condition later Tuesday and her condition wasn’t serious, but Yates was unable to provide more details due to privacy laws.
Yates said Holmberg was in a private room and that additional security has been hired by the family in order to keep the media from disturbing her. Family members have visited her, but no specifics have been given.
“She’s in a wing that helps protect her privacy,” Yates said.
Eva Malmborg, a spokeswoman for Holmberg, said that a family member told her that Holmberg had been taken to a hospital because of stomach pains but was feeling well “considering the circumstances.”
Malmborg said that to the best of her knowledge, Holmberg does not suffer from any diseases.
Holmberg’s deputy, Olov Rydberg, said in a prepared statement that Holmberg is expected to return to her job as Gavleborg county governor in Sweden next week.
