Woods was then taken to Health Central Hospital in serious condition, according to the FHP. No other information regarding his condition has been made available.

An employee at the hospital said at approximately 2:30 p.m. EST that Tiger Woods was not a patient, however. A hospital director would not confirm whether or not Woods was treated and released.

Apparently, the airbags in Woods’ Cadillac Escalade were not deployed, which would seem to indicate that the vehicle was going less than 33 mph.

Orange County Fire Rescue got the call for assistance at about 2:28 a.m. EST.

FHP didn’t report the accident until just after 2 p.m. EST on Friday afternoon. The crash is pending investigation but preliminary reports indicate that alcohol was not a factor, although there are charges pending.
