CRUSH is a fast and fun weekly web-show that rounds up the latest social media news in just about 3 minutes or less. CRUSH puts a fresh, witty spin on social media news, bringing viewers the latest information in a new, entertaining way. I could promise you that it’s anything but boring, but it will probably mean more if you watch an episode and find out first-hand.
About your hosts:
Nathan Havey
Nathan Havey does political and new media consulting with Common Sense New Media Strategies. In college, he was a founding member of a “Men against Rape” group on his campus. He worked on Capitol Hill as the Director of eCommunications for a member of the U.S. House. Nathan has done video work for a variety of organizations and he is also one of the founders of ResponAbility X.
Cody Merritt
Cody Merritt is the Social Media Director for Common Sense New Media Strategies. He has been intimately involved in the use of new media as a tool for democracy and advocacy. In 2009, he was was named a finalist in the AAFT International Festival of Cellphone Cinema in New Delhi. He is also the co-inventor of the 2.go mobile
marketing platform (patent pending). Cody also serves as a board-fellow for ArtCorps, a non-profit organization that uses the arts to advance social change initiatives in developing countries.
