Every year, on August 1st, the people of Warsaw, Poland pay homage to the fallen heroes that fought for freedom in 1944 during the infamous Warsaw Uprising.
The biggest rebellion against German Nazi occupation during World War II cost over 200,000 lives and led to the destruction of the capital.
They take this very seriously. No matter what people are doing, they stop when they hear the siren.
