The cast of the cult classic “The Princess Bride” reunited recently at the New York Film Festival to commemorate the film’s 25-year anniversary.
What has helped this movie stand the test of time?
“It’s a beautifully done, enduring love story,” Billy Crystal told the Associated Press, adding that other iconic movies like “The Wizard of Oz” and “It’s a Wonderful Life” weren’t box office hits but gained popularity over time.
To mark the occasion, a special edition of the movie has just been released on Blu-ray.
