Well, it’s official.
Carrie Underwood, the winner of American Idol season 4, has gotten married to Mike Fisher of the NHL’s Ottawa Senators. The two got hitched at a private ceremony held at the Ritz-Carlton in Greensboro, Georgia yesterday.
The couple had booked the entire hotel for the wedding, which is said to have cost over $500,000.
Underwood, 27, and Fisher, 30, had been dating since 2008 and got engaged in December of last year. AI judges Randy Jackson, Paula Abdul, and Simon Cowell were said to have been in attendance for the extravaganza. Fisher’s Ottawa Senators teammates Chris Phillips and Chris Neil were also at the wedding.
