On Sunday morning, Texas Stadium, the former home of the Dallas Cowboys for several decades, was demolished. The Cowboys moved to their new stadium in 2008 and the building has been vacant ever since.
An 11-year-old boy who had won a writing contest was selected to set off the explosion. About a ton of dynamite had been placed strategically around the stadium in order to bring it down.
As you can see in the video below, the implosion begins with a bang, then the building slowly begins to crumble and kicks up a massive cloud of dust around the area.
