Here’s some devastating news for those of us here in Baltimore.
Star Ravens linebacker Terrell Suggs will miss the ENTIRE 2012 season after tearing his Achilles tendon.
Suggs sustained the injury while working out in Arizona.
(UPDATE: Suggs is now vowing to return by mid-season)
The injury couldn’t have happened at a worse time. Had the 2011 Defensive Player of the Year gotten injured just one week sooner, the Ravens could have adjusted their draft plans accordingly.
It’s a devastating loss for the Ravens that changes the entire landscape for next season.
Allow me to speak for us all here in Baltimore when I say…
UPDATE: Statement from the Baltimore Ravens: “We are in contact with Terrell. He will see a specialist early next week, and we’ll know more at that time.”
