Wow, you just never know what you’re going to get when you’re dealing with Ted Nugent.
In the middle of a seemingly innocuous interview with CBS Morning News reporter Jeff Glor, his first since being interviewed by the Secret Service over his controversial remarks regarding the possible reelection of President Barack Obama, the rock legend unloaded.
The trouble began when Glor implied that, in order for Republican presidential hopeful Mitt Romney to have a shot at winning, he’ll need support from moderates.
Nugent said he was not moderate and then came completely unglued…
“Call me,” Nugent continued in a raised, irritated voice, “when you meet someone who does that more than I do. Because that’s really moderate. In fact, you know what that is? That’s extreme. … I’m an extremely loving, passionate man, and people who investigate me honestly, without the baggage of political correctness, ascertain the conclusion that I’m a damned nice guy. … And if you can find a screening process more powerful than that, I’ll s–k your d–k. Or [censored]. How’s that sound?”
Wow, one word, Ted. Decaf. Really.
The last portion of his comments seemed to be directed at someone off-camera, so something else must have happened that set Nugent off.
It sure does make for compelling morning television, though!
You’ve just got to love Ted Nugent. He simply tells it like it is.
