The Recording Academy has announced that both Taylor Swift and Lady Antebellum will perform at the 2010 Grammy Grammy Awards. Both artists have been nominated for several different awards. Swift has been nominated in eight categories and Lady Antebellum has been nominated in two.
This will be Swift’s second go round at the ceremony. She also shared the spotlight with Miley Cyrus at last year’s event.
Lady Antebellum nailed back-to-back hits in 2009 with “I Need You Now” and “Run to You”. The country group later snagged CMA Awards for Best Vocal Group and Single of the Year.
Taylor Swift’s CD “Fearless” ruled the charts in ’09 with its eighth run as the number one country album in the country. She is second only to Beyonce Knowles in earning the most Grammy nods.
Other Grammy performers this year will include Beyonce, Maxwell and the Black Eyed Peas. The 2010 Grammys will air live on January 31 at 8 p.m. EST on CBS.
