New York Building Collapse: Google Street View Shows Crack

The “Vesper Bar & Lounge,” a four story building in Brooklyn, New York, collapsed today just before 2pm ET. There were luckily no casualties and just four minor injuries. The establishment was closed at the time of the collapse.

Global Language Monitor – “Web 2.0″ is Millionth Word

The Global Language Monitor announced today that Web 2.0 has beaten Jai Ho, n00B and Slumdog as the millionth English word or phrase.

FBI Goes Web 2.0, Joins Social Media Sites

The FBI has finally decided to get with the whole “Web 2.0″ movement. They have announced that they’ve “set up shop in several social media websites.”
The FBI now has a profile on Facebook, Twitter, YouTube and is working on a widget for MySpace.
There is even an FBI “Most Wanted” application for the iPhone .

Twitter Marks Third Birthday with Twitter Outage

Founding CEO Jack Dorsey tweeted earlier today linking back to some of the earliest tweets at the company, which at the time was jokingly referred to as “twttr”.
